Please read the Terms of Use carefully. If you do not agree with the Terms of Use, please do not use the eCentreClinic or participate in any eCentreClinic research studies, or treatment courses.
Every time you interact with the eCentreClinic you are subject to these Terms of Use. If you are participating in one of our treatment courses via a research trial, or another research study, these terms of use should be considered alongside the relevant Participation Information and Consent Statement provided.
The eCentreClinic is a not-for-profit research initiative of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
Eligibility
When you are participating in one of our treatment courses, or a research study, you need to meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria described in the relevant Participant Information and Consent Statement.
The Participant Information and Consent Statement is provided to you when you first express your interest in a treatment course or research study. It can also be provided to you at any point by contacting the clinic via email.
Confidentiality and privacy
You accept that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any information that you download onto your computer. It is also your responsibility to delete or keep safe messages, emails and any transcripts of online conversations that you download or print out.
You explicitly agree not to forward or copy email messages or other electronic communications from the eCentreClinic to other persons, except in circumstances where this has been agreed in advance by the eCentreClinic, and is done with the written consent of the eCentreClinic. You may not copy and paste bits of text or use the eCentreClinic advice out of context, or pass on the advice to a third party.
Our Privacy Statement sets out in more detail how eCentreClinic collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information.
Your password
You understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password that will be or has been provided to you and shall be responsible for all uses via your login, whether authorised or unauthorised by you. You agree to immediately inform the eCentreClinic of any unauthorised use of your user account or password.
Limitation of liability
You agree that Macquarie University is not liable for incorrect results or recommendations provided to you as a part of your participation in a research study, or for loss or damage suffered by you due to your participation in a research study.
